Our Assurance Of Quality

The Bre Collection mattresses are manufactured to meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Furniture of America, Inc. warrants the original purchaser’s mattress against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and warranty schedule set forth below.

If your mattress develops a covered defect during the applicable warranty period, Furniture of America, Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace the mattress in accordance with the Limited Warranty Schedule below. Transportation, inspection, and other applicable charges may apply as specified in this warranty.

If identical materials or an identical mattress are no longer available at the time service is required,Furniture of America, Inc. reserves the right to substitute materials or a mattress of equal or greater quality. If the identical mattress is no longer manufactured, the current retail price will be used to determine the cost of a comparable replacement model. Furniture of America, Inc. reserves the right to make the final determination regarding comparable replacement models.

Year 6 Customer pays 60%

Year 7 Customer pays 70%

Year 8 Customer pays 80%

Year 9 Customer pays 90%

Year 10 Warranty ends

The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase and extends for a period of ten (10) years. The warranty is available only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

For prorated replacement coverage beginning in Year 6, the customer's percentage of the applicable replacement cost will be based on the Warranty Schedule above, plus any applicable transportation, inspection, or service charges.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal residential use.

Covered defects may include, but are not limited to:

  • Broken or defective springs

  • Splitting or structural failure of foam

  • Manufacturing defects in the mattress materials or construction

  • Other defects in workmanship or materials determined by Furniture of America, Inc to be covered under this warranty

Furniture of America, Inc. will determine, in its reasonable judgment, whether a claimed condition constitutes a covered defect.

Body Impressions And Sagging

This warranty covers permanent body impressions or indentations measuring greater than one and one-half (1.5) inches, provided the mattress has been used under normal conditions and on an appropriate, properly supported foundation or bed frame.

Indentations measuring one and one-half (1.5) inches or less are considered normal wear and are not covered under this warranty.

Normal changes in softness, firmness, recovery time, or other characteristics associated with the natural use and aging of foam, latex, or other mattress materials are not considered defects and are not covered.

Comfort Preference

This warranty does not cover personal comfort preferences.

Differences in firmness, softness, pressure relief, support, or the subjective feel of the mattress are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered under this warranty.

Commercial Use

This warranty is valid only for personal, residential use.

Mattresses used for commercial, institutional, hospitality, rental, or other non-residential purposes are not covered under this warranty unless otherwise expressly agreed to in writing by Furniture of America.

Support Requirements

The mattress must be used on a proper foundation, bed base, or bed frame that is structurally capable of supporting the mattress and the weight of the user(s).

Queen- and king-size mattresses must be used with a foundation or bed frame providing adequate center support.

Failure to use an appropriate support system may result in damage to the mattress and will void this warranty.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Transportation, inspection, or related service costs, except where expressly stated otherwise

  • Mattresses sold “as is”

  • Floor samples or display models

  • Mattresses purchased from unauthorized or non-retail sources

  • Mattresses purchased secondhand or transferred from the original purchaser

  • Mattresses provided as promotional items

  • Personal comfort preferences

  • Mattress height or sheet fit

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Body impressions or indentations measuring 1.5 inches or less

  • Normal changes in softness, firmness, or recovery time

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling

  • Damage caused by an inappropriate foundation, bed base, or bed frame

  • Stains, soiling, fluid penetration, burns, cuts, tears, or other physical damage

  • Damage caused by cleaning products, chemicals, or improper cleaning

  • Damage caused by moisture or liquids

  • Damage resulting from improper care or storage

  • Damage to handles caused by lifting, carrying, or misuse

  • Cosmetic changes that do not affect the performance or structural integrity of the mattress

  • Replacement of another component of a sleep set unless that component is itself defective

  • Any mattress used for commercial or non-residential purposes

  • The mattress fabric cover is not covered against normal wear, staining, soiling, or cosmetic damage.

  • Handles are provided for positioning the mattress only and are not designed for lifting or carrying. Damage resulting from use of the handles for lifting or carrying is not covered.

Care and Maintenance

To help maintain your mattress and preserve your warranty rights:

DO:

  • Rotate your mattress as needed to promote even wear.

  • Use an appropriate foundation or bed frame with adequate center support.

  • Use a mattress protector to help prevent stains, soiling, and fluid damage.

  • Allow your mattress to properly air out after removing it from its packaging.

  • Keep the mattress clean and dry.

  • Follow all care and maintenance instructions provided with your mattress

DO NOT:

  • Remove the law tag attached to your mattress.

  • Use cleaning fluids, harsh chemicals, or solvents on the mattress.

  • Allow the mattress to become wet or exposed to excessive moisture.

  • Use the mattress handles for lifting or carrying.

  • Place the mattress on an inadequate or unsupported foundation or bed frame.

  • Fold, bend, or improperly store the mattress in a manner that may cause damage.

  • Failure to properly care for or support the mattress may void this warranty.

Warranty Claims

If you believe your mattress has developed a covered defect, if you bought this on The Bre Collection website, please file your on claim on warranty link.

To process a warranty claim, you must provide:

  • Proof of purchase showing the original date of purchase

  • The original law tag attached to the mattress

  • A description of the claimed defect

  • Any additional information or photographs reasonably requested by Furniture of America, Inc.

  • Furniture of America, Inc. may require an inspection of the mattress before determining whether the claim is covered under this warranty.

If a claim is approved, Furniture of America, Inc. will determine whether the mattress will be repaired or replaced in accordance with the applicable Warranty Schedule.

Replacement Mattress

If the identical mattress is no longer manufactured or available, Furniture of America, Inc may provide a comparable mattress of equal or greater quality.

The current retail price of the comparable model will be used to determine the applicable replacement cost under the prorated portion of the Warranty Schedule.

Furniture of America, Inc. reserves the right to make the final determination regarding the appropriate comparable replacement model.

If identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair or replacement, Furniture of America, Inc. reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or greater quality.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty is provided only to the original purchaser and is effective from the original date of purchase. It is non-transferable.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary from state to state.

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the mattress as expressly provided herein. Furniture of America, Inc. shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The warranty period is limited to ten (10) years from the original date of purchase. At the end of Year 10, all warranty coverage expires.

Fire Safety Notice

The Bre Collection mattress is not fireproof. It meets applicable federal fire safety requirements when used as intended and with the appropriate foundation or support system specified on the federal law label.

To reduce the risk of fire:

  • Keep matches and lighters away from children.

  • Do not smoke in bed.

  • Keep space heaters and other heat sources away from the mattress.

  • Do not use candles on or near the bed.

  • Keep electrical cords away from and out from underneath the mattress.

  • Follow all manufacturer safety instructions and warnings.

Please retain your original sales receipt, this warranty document, and the law tag attached to your mattress.

The law tag provides important identification and warranty information. Do not remove the law tag.

Proof of purchase and the original law tag are required to establish eligibility for warranty service.
